Training Programme

BIOART aims at training and promoting a new generation of researchers capable of adressing highly multidisciplinary projects combining disciplines of material sciences and engineering with biology and medecine.

g

Scientific and technical training courses are offered during summer schools or in specific workshops.

  • The basic knowledge courses provide a common minimum knowledge to ESRs and ERs whatever their background.
  • The advanced knowledge courses are meant to bring them to state of the art level.

g

Full advantage will be taken of the expertise, complementarities and networking potential of all the partners involved in the project.

g

By the end of the project, the young researchers trained will have further developed their initial background and acquired complementary basic - but sufficient- knowledge in the other disciplines involved in BIOART's research topics. They will be able to understand and manage all scientific, industrial and clinical aspects of (bio)artificial livers and kidneys.
